DESCRIPTION:

Are you someone who is active in your local community and wants to get involved with Key Conservation? We are looking for people who are passionate about conservation who want to connect local conservation organizations in their area with us! Becoming a Key ambassador is a great way to foster new relationships in your community and around the world.

POTENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Build support and awareness of Key Conservation in your local community

• Connect with local conservation organizations to help them get on Key

• Encourage people from all over your community to use their skills for conservation 

• Develop content to showcase how people can get involved 

• Spread the word about Key!

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong social skills and willingness to connect with others

• Proficient with common social media platforms

• Ideally already involved in your community in some capacity

• Passion and optimism for the natural world a must

• Committed to sharing fact-based science

• Able to be self-motivated, innovative and flexible to work remotely with a fast-paced startup 

• Must be able to work as part of a team

 

COMPENSATION:​

• This position is volunteer-based but we are passionate about helping our ambassadors gain valuable skills and connections to advance their career in conservation

SUPPORT:

Ambassadors will be supported by our team and by our community of like-minded ambassadors around the world. We will provide mentoring and guidance in setting goals as an ambassador so you can make the most of your time with us. You will be supported through brainstorming, developing action plans and carrying out your ideas. We will also provide you with tools, information, and material to prepare you for taking action and spreading the word.
